SEALED BIDS will be received by the Boone County Conservation District (BCCD) until 2:00 pm (local time) on June 15, 2017 at their office, 6028 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, Kentucky 41005, for the North Bend Road & Burlington Pike Interchange/SPUI Bioretention Project. Selection of a contractor will be voted on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the BCCD Board Meeting.
SCOPE OF WORK to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of installation of a bioretention/wetland feature. Improvements will include excavation, rock armoring, and site restoration. A lump sum bid is to be submitted for the entire project.
THE ABOVE IMPROVEMENT shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. BCCD proposes to award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Bidder is advised that BCCD reserves the right to reject any and all Bids submitted, to waive any and all informalities, irregularities and/or technicalities in any Bid or Bid Guaranty, to accept any Bid deemed advantageous to it; and, to negotiate changes, deletions, or additions to these Contract Documents with the successful Bidder. Bids must be submitted on the standard form of Bid Proposal, and the successful BIDDER will be required to execute the Standard Form of Contract Agreement.
THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at BCCD’s office, 6028 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, KY 41005 and are available via email from Mark Jacobs.
